Canadian shrub (Richer, Canada, 2003)
This low growing shrub is adorned with flushes of wine red semi double flowers through out the growing season. Almost black in reality! Like its Canadian brethren, Navy Lady is cold tolerant and extremely disease resistant.
The Wren Association (Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service)chose this rose to celebrate the Canadian Naval Centennial in 2010 and the contribution of the thousands of women who serve in Canada’s Navy.
