Why Unique Roses?
The Story of Unique Roses
The owner, Sanjoy Ghosh has been growing roses for the last 30 years at the least, first in India, then in Vancouver and finally in Kelowna now for 12 years. Unlike the Lower Mainland, where there are a few rose specialty sources like Select Roses and Fraser Valley Rose Farm, none exists in the Okanagan. This is where Unique Roses comes in.
Like many gardeners in the Okanagan, we have been very frustrated in the limited selection of exclusive, classic roses available locally. Most big box stores and nurseries carry the same rose varieties year after year. Based on Sanjoy's extensive rose related contacts, we decided to open a small home-based business where we bring in hard to find rose varieties in the Okanagan. We do our business entirely online. We do not have a store front as we live in a residential area. However, if you puchase roses from our website, we will contact you via email to arrange for pickup within 24 hours. We also offer free delivery for mutiple orders in Kelowna and West Kelowna.
Most of the roses that we offer has been grown personally by Sanjoy and he will give first hand advice or will direct you to the right sources, so that you can successfully grow roses.
